Making A Purchase
Feel free to browse our store, and add
any items that you wish to buy into the
shopping cart. After you have finished
your selection, click on 'Checkout' and
you will be asked for a few details that
we need to be able to complete the order.
When you have placed your
order you will receive email confirmation
of your order.
We accept Visa,
Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Maestro,
via Paypal. We also accept cheque, made payable to "MediaVue". Please send cheques to this address: MediaVue, 437 Aldborough Road South, Ilford, Essex, IG3 8JN.
All goods
will be charged in GBP
In the case of a price change
we will contact you first to see if you
wish to proceed with the transaction.
Shipping And Handling
Please check each item as shipping varies.
Delivery Schedule
For our fully built media centres we will normally send your order to
you in 3 to 5 business days with a courier of our choice, unless otherwise
stated. International orders are generally shipped in under 7 days. Whilst
we try to meet all our orders, we cannot be held responsible or offer
any compensation for any disappointment endured if we fail to meet our
designated delivery time as we are at the mercy of the shipping company.
All orders are subject to availability.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will
back order for you. You will always be
emailed with the option to cancel your
order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For all orders 15% VAT is displayed with the price shown on the web site.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the Paypal or Google software
when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in
clear text on any web site.
Warranty and Return
Please check the product detail page of the product required, as this
will show the warranty information for that particular product. Goods
out of packaging will only be refunded if it is shown that they are materially
faulty, if this is the case please contact us first.
Please be aware that all Media Centres available on this site are not
"off the shelf items" as they are custom built by hand to each
customers specific requirements, this also includes Media Centers without
any additional options purchased. Please insure before placing your order
that the pc you order will match your needs/requirements. If you are unsure
of anything relating to one of our products or you require further information
on them then please do not hesitate to contact us.
Any damage to goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We
will refund the price and carriage of replacement goods at no cost to
the customer.
In respect of any damage to goods reported to us after 48 hours of delivery,
we shall require proof from you that the goods were damaged before receipt
by you.
Incorrect items can be returned to us for a full refund or replacement
with the correct item as long as the fault is ours. Incorrect items purchased
by the customer mistake can be returned un-used and unopened at the customers
cost.
You may cancel your order within 7 days by giving us notice in any of
the following ways:
1). Via email, referring to the order number and by confirming your name
and address of the order.
2). By phone
3). By recorded letter which must be received by us no later than 10 days
after the receipt of the order.
This only applies if:
Any shrink-wrapped or blister pack products have not been opened or any
manufacturer's seals broken.
The item has all packaging, manuals, cables etc.
The item is in Re-saleable condition – as it arrived to the customer,
in a condition that would enable them to be resold as new.
Any goods returned as unwanted not in 'New' condition maybe be subject
to a 15% fee, or returned to the buyer.
Faulty Items within 28 Days of Purchase
It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility of any goods offered
for sale by us both with the existing components within your system and
with any other goods offered for sale by us.
It is your responsibility to ensure proper installation of our goods
into your existing system.
It is your responsibility to ensure that wherever necessary you access
the manufacturers web site to download any necessary product upgrades
(including drivers and manuals).
Without knowing the particular application for which you require our
goods and the exact specification and configuration of any existing system
into which you intend to install our goods we cannot and do not warrant
the suitability of any of our goods for your particular purpose.
We recognise that goods supplied by us to you may not meet your expectations.
In our experience there are many reasons why that may happen. Examples
of those reasons include a defect in the goods at the point of delivery
to you, incompatibility with existing components within your system, poor
installation or simply slower performance than you require.
We are not able to establish why the goods have failed to meet your expectations
without an opportunity of inspecting and testing the goods.
Testing
All returned items not returned in accordance with the Distance Selling
Regulations (2000) are tested by our technicians. Any item found to be
not faulty will be subject to a £10 +VAT charge if collected or
a £10 + return shipping + VAT charge if shipped back to the customer.
You will be notified by e-mail before any non-faulty goods are returned
to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Packaging
Returned items should be packaged securely to prevent any damage and shipped
in a plain outer box.
Modified Goods
Any goods that have been modified or physically altered in any way shall
be deemed Warranty Void and no support will be provided.
Only Return Faulty Item(s). RMA numbers are issued for specific components
only. Please do not return your whole order because you believe one component
may be faulty. This does not affect your rights under the Distance Selling
Regulations (2000).
Any returns received without out a Returns (RMA) number clearly visible
will be refused. Any return must be received by us within 14 days of being
issued.
Faulty Items More Than 28 Days after Receipt
If you are reporting faulty goods more than 28 days after receipt, then
we strongly recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly for a
warranty repair/replacement. This is often the quickest way to have a
fault rectified. For example in some cases, manufacturers provide a special
full on-site service and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience.
We will only deal with the warranty after 28 days if the manufacturer
does not offer this service. This does not affect your statuary rights.
