Small, Silent, Sleek - but still a Powerful Media Centre

The FC8 is an astecially pleasing case which would look great in any living room. Not only that - it is packed with spec that makes it a perfect choice for a HTPC / Media Centre PC to use as your home theatre.

The first serious plus point it has is a fanless design, which means no noise from it at all! (unless you go for a 2.5" hard drive which makes a slight noise). This is due to its unique design as the side of the case acts as a heat dispenser from the CPU, with its fins dispersing the heat safely. This means that you dont have to worry of any noise in those quiet periods of the movie your watching or if you have the media center in your bedroom.

It is coupled with the 150W PSU which is also silent and enough to power the CPU, a couple of hard drives, optical drive and tv tuner it makes for an exciting new product - one that takes all the noise out of standard computing.

But that's not to say that it is lackluster in performance, as it is using a powerfull 2nd gen i3 CPU which can be upgraded to i5 which gives it loads of juice to do what you need it to do.

The Streacom FC5OD is finished in a shot-blasted finish which means it does not leave visible fingerprints behind as brushed aluminium finishes can often do.
